Toad-sized soundscapes laced with the calls of toad species threatened with extinction – currently classified as vulnerable, endangered, or critically endangered by the IUCN - as well as species that are presently extinct in the wild.

The purple harlequin toad is considered a subspecies of the Pebas stubfoot toad, but it is possible this taxonomy will change. Thus, they are listed separately in the title of track 4, a song that includes both of their calls.
